Mermaid Card

 I wanted to use this cutie on a card and I had the perfect sentiment to go with it. I believe it is a Hero Arts but I am to lazy to get up and go look :) I used some DCWV paper and hand cut the flag.

I colored this Sassy Studio's image with Copics and added Stickles to the shells and inside the flower.
I used my Spellbinders to cut out the image and the background lacy oval.

TSB Birthday Turtle

This week on The Stamping Boutique the challenge is card for a child.

I used Birthday Turtle by The Stamping Boutique on this card. I love turtles (in case you didn't know). I colored it with Copics. I made a simple layout with some sparkly papers. The sentiment is a Stampin Up stamp. Pretty simple and totally cute.

IS Summer Time

Nothing says summer like 4th of July here in the US. We love our fireworks and BBQ's. I used a Inspired Stamps scripture on these cards.

This cute girl is HLO Sincerely Girl. I colored her with Copics.

Romans 8:31 is a great scripture. I am sending these to OWH so I hope it inspires someone that receives it.

Inky for the boys

Inky Impressions challenge this week is for the boys.

I accidentally ripped my paper getting it out of the paper pack and thought hmm that might look good and it did. I love the happy accidents that happen in crafting.

The image and sentiment are both from Inky Impressions. The sentiment is Heroes Dad Sentiment and the image is Father and Son Fun. I colored it with Copics and added some DP int he corner with a brad.
The DP is DCWV.

GDT Baby Card

The new challenge over at Card Mania for these two weeks is baby. How simple :)

 

How cute is this card? I just love how it came out. I used a previous sponsor, Sassy Studios image. Maxi Skirt Momma is colored with Copics. I used my Spellbinders to cut her out and inked the edge. I used Jaded Blossoms Simple Sayings stamps on the front and for the congrats. The smaller sentiment inside is a Pink by Design stamp.

I always add a little color to the inside of my cards. I think it just makes them that much more special.

Inky New Release

Inky Impressions new release time. Here is one of the new ones. This one is so much fun and perfect for space themed birthday cards.

 Astronaut Lili is just so stinking cute. I colored her with Copics and inked the edges.

 Of course no space card is complete without aliens! I print the sentiment using word. I used my spellbinders to cut it out and inked the edges. The inside is stamped with a Stampin Up sentiment ans there are some more aliens!

I have to scripture cards to share today. I used some bright paper on these two cards. I kept them simple. I added a couple metal dots using my Irock.

TSB ~ Birthday Boy Card

This week on The Stamping Boutique the challenge is dad or masculine.

I made a masculine birthday card this week I used my Spellbinders to cut the circle out.

This is AJ the Race Car driver. Isn't he cute. He is a The Stamping Boutique image. I colored him with Copics and added some glossy accents to the head lights. The flag was cut out from Cricut Craftroom from Party Picks and Pennants and stamped with a Stampin up sentiment. The paper is from Recollections.

IS New Release

I love created cards and loving them when I am done. I love how this one came out. I embossed the background with musical notes. I used my Spellbinders to cut out the scripture.

 Psalm 62:1 and Hymn Girls Sit and Read are two of the new releases for Inspired Stamps this month.

I added a little color to this cute girl with my Copics. I love how easy these girls are to color. The paper is Bazzill Nordic Pines.

Teal Birthday Card

I am happy to say that I will be guest designing with Card Mania for the entire summer. This week's challenge is flowers. How simple is that!? I used flower paper, embellishments and a stamp. Over achiever I know :)

This is actually two stamps. The background stamp and then a birthday sentiment. I was unsure how they would look together but liked the result. The sentiment is Fiskar and the background I believe is too but I am not sure.

The inside is a Stampendous birthday set sentiment.

Missing You ~Heart Pink

I used paint and a foam brush for the background pink & purple. I then added some speckles by using a small paint brush and flicking the paint on top of the brushed on paint.

 The hearts are Heidi Swapp that I painted with purple paint.

The missing you sentiment is a Jaded Blossom Simple Sayings stamp.

Summer Scripture Cards

I wanted to try something new and saw some what looked like painted card fronts on Pinterest so I thought I would give it a shot.

I used Inspired Stamps scripture stamp John 14:6 on both these cards. I used some tempera paint and a sponge brush. I just randomly brushed summer inspired colors on the top card. I then took a small paint brush and flicked some color spots on the top. I did have to add a few drops of water to thin the blue out to flick.

This card I just got silly and painted a sun and some waves. Nothing says summer like swimming. This is one of my favorite scriptures.

See that I am using this image a lot :) I sell my cards at my husbands work and they are just loving this image. So I have made a few cards with this Sassy Studio's Maxi Skirt Momma. I love this paper. It is perfect for baby cards.

Yellow Prego Card

I made a very similar pink card to this one and someone asked me to make a more neutral one so here it is.

This image is getting a huge response from my hubbies coworkers. I have now made 5 cards with it. The image is Sassy Studio Designs Maxi Shirt Momma.I colored her with Copics. I used my Spellbinders to cut the image out and for the Lacy Oval behind it.

I embossed the background with hands and feet. I added a Jaded Blossom sentiment to the front.

I used two stamps from Pink By Design sentiments inside.

OWH Blog Hop

I love to donate cards to OWH. I get to make cards that will touch someone's heart and have fun crafting.

I used Inspired Stamps on this card. I know how important God is to the people in the military so I love to send in scripture cards. It is also another way to share my faith with people which is always a plus.

I used Bazzill card stock that I embossed with stars and stripes. I used Hymn Girl January. I added a little color with my Copics. The scripture stamp Ephesians 6:10 I inked the edge with blue and red.

Thank you to all the military families out there. I can not imagine my family member being gone and worrying about their safety all the time. I hope that getting cards from them helps to give you some peace of mind. I appreciate all of you!

This week on The Stamping Boutique the challenge is doily. I don't use them often but they do make a nice background piece.

This is one purple birthday card. It came out good. I used a Stampendous sentiment and some button brads.

Birthday Turtle is so cute. I love the hearts on the shell. I am a fan of turtles so I have a lot of turtle stamps. I colored this one with Copics and added stickles to the bow.

Inky Bingo Birthday Cutie

Inky Impressions challenge this week is Bingo. I love bingo challenges so many options.

I am still in love with this image.Cupcake Lili is colored with Copics. I added Stickles to the sprinkles on the cake. I used punch, stamp, ribbon. The DCWV paper is so bright and fun with this image. I used a punch the the corners of the balloon paper. I added a strip of border punched white paper under the balloons.

I am guest designing for Card Mania this month. The challenge this week is clean and simple.

I used a Fiskar stamp to put the print lightly on the white card stock. I used a Inspired Stamps scripture stamp. I used my Spellbinders to cut out the stamp. The blue cardstock I used a border punch on both sides and added two brads. Clean and simple :)
