IS Candy Bags

This year I have a new job with lots of co-workers that I love. I want to make them all a little something but there are over 30 of them and I have not been feeling well with this first trimester sickness stuff. So I came up with these and I am hoping to have them all done by next week.
I kept them very simple and used an easy to cut out stamp set by Inspired Stamps. I used a circle punch and scallop punch to easily cut the Christmas Circle stamp set out.

To cut the toppers out I used two different dies. The top is my favorite bag topper die from Jaded Blossom Stamps. However, it is not cheap and I am so I waited for a sale. The bottom is a good alternative with are Spellbinder dies that I folded in half. I cut the decorative piece of paper to fit the front.

I hope your year is coming to a close on a good note. This has been a year of many great things and many trials for my husband and I. After four years of trying to have a baby I am finally successfully pregnant. I wish I could say this was our first pregnancy but unfortunately we had a miscarriage this year. So to be able to go to the doctor and see a healthy fetus growing was the most amazing thing. This year has been the hardest probably of my life. God has his reasons for everything and works at his own time. I thank him everyday, even though I make be puking at the time, for this chance. Don't give up on your dreams.

Head on over to Inspired Stamps and check out all the other beautiful creations.

TSB Monster Box

This week on The Stamping Boutique the challenge is outside of the box. I took it literally while others were more creative with it.
I made a box using my Cricut Plantin Schoolbook cartridge. Knocked the dust off my machine. I still love this box. So simple to make. I added a bag of candy inside and added some orange twine.
I used this Halloween Monster TSB image and colored it with Copics. I wanted to show the Glossy Accents on the eyeballs with this picture. I added Stickles to the small circles on the image.

Head on over to The Stamping Boutique and join in the fun.

If you haven't joined The Stamping Boutique Facebook page yet come on over. I am running a monthly challenge in the group!

Baby Shower Items

I co-hosted a baby shower for a friend and wanted to share what I made. This are the gift bags for the prizes.
I used my Cricut 9 Months cartridge for the onesies. I added some dots with my gel pen. I used a variety of pink and purple papers that I found in single sheets and in paper packs.
I added a lot of curly ribbon to everything. The roll I bought had a ton and I wanted to use as much as I could.
These are the thank you for coming gifts. They were the biggest hit because people could not believe I stamped every kiss. I tried to jazz up the plain basket the best I could. The sign I used Bugaboo images.
I used a Jaded Blossom die to cut out the toppers and Jaded Blossom candy stamps for the bottoms. I used a couple different sets. The baby one and some other thank you stamp.
I added some baby confetti to them since that was in the invitation.
The babies room is light purple so I found a matching elephant to give her. This is my gift bag for the babies gift.
I used larger onesies and embossed them. More ribbon!
I added the gel pen dots again and used a brad in the center.

Secret Santa Box

This box is so cute. I used a Miss Kate Cuttable's for the Santa on the outside of the box.
I used a Jaded Blossom stamp for all the Santa faces on each of the candies. I colored them with Copics. The box is also from Jaded Blossom as well as the secret Santa stamp on top of the box. I cut the flag with my square punch and inked the green edge. Pretty green ribbon and that is it. Simple and cute. Hopefully my secret santa likes it.

TSB Frankstein Bags

I am so excited that The Stamping Boutique is back up and running. I love their stamps and loved being part of the design team. I am glad to say that I am back on team.
I love this Frankenstein. He is so cute. I colored him with Copics. I did him in different colors. I inked the edges of the images.
Here are some bags I made for my husbands coworkers.
I made these all similar and filled them with candy. Since we adults don't get to trick or treat a little candy for the ladies. I found a couple cute ribbons to close up the bags with. These little bags are from Micheals.
There are so many great Halloween challenges going on right now. I had a hard time narrowing them down.

Frankstein Candy bag

Here is a candy bag I made with this super cute Frankenstein from Miss Kate Cuttables.
I added some green ink to his face to make him seem a little grungy. I used my gel pen to add a little dimension to him. Other than that I just cut him out on my Silhouette and glued him together.

Grinch Pills Jar

Here is another way I did my Grinch pills this year. So simple.
I used the same grinch picture as my bags and added the poem on with some twine. So simple and cute!
