TSB Dies and Punches Birthday Card

Cards

Here are two cards I made a long while back and never posted.

The top card was from when I was on one of my favorite DT's Sew Many Stamps. They went out of business and it made me very sad. My coloring has improved a bit over time. I used my Spellbinders to cut out the oval and my Irock to add the gems to it.

This anniversary card was so pretty and I completely forgot to take pictures of it before I sealed it in plastic. I used my Cricut to cut out the cake.I added Stickles to the layers.

Pink Birthdays

I haven't had a lot of time to craft in the last few months. Growing a baby is hard work. However I have several projects that I have not had time to post that I am working on. Here are two simple birthday cards I made.

 I used a Stampin up candles image. I added some color with Copics and added Stickles to the flame.

I embossed the background on the pink. I used my Spellbinders to cut out the stamp image.

Orange Flower Birthday

Here is a simple birthday card I made. I used DCWV paper. I used a Stampin Up birthday sentiment and my Irock metal embellishments.

I cut out a white lacy circle and embossed it to put behind the flower.

IS Candy Bags

This year I have a new job with lots of co-workers that I love. I want to make them all a little something but there are over 30 of them and I have not been feeling well with this first trimester sickness stuff. So I came up with these and I am hoping to have them all done by next week.

I kept them very simple and used an easy to cut out stamp set by Inspired Stamps. I used a circle punch and scallop punch to easily cut the Christmas Circle stamp set out.

To cut the toppers out I used two different dies. The top is my favorite bag topper die from Jaded Blossom Stamps. However, it is not cheap and I am so I waited for a sale. The bottom is a good alternative with are Spellbinder dies that I folded in half. I cut the decorative piece of paper to fit the front.

I hope your year is coming to a close on a good note. This has been a year of many great things and many trials for my husband and I. After four years of trying to have a baby I am finally successfully pregnant. I wish I could say this was our first pregnancy but unfortunately we had a miscarriage this year. So to be able to go to the doctor and see a healthy fetus growing was the most amazing thing. This year has been the hardest probably of my life. God has his reasons for everything and works at his own time. I thank him everyday, even though I make be puking at the time, for this chance. Don't give up on your dreams.

IS Drummer Boy

 O used HLO Drummer Boy for this cutie and colored him with Copics. The scripture is Romans 5:1. I cut it out with my Spellbinders. The paper is Bo Bunny.

TSB Thanksgiving Girl

This week on The Stamping Boutique the challenge is Fall Colors

 Thanksgiving is coming and I have a lot to be thankful for. This cute image is Audrey the Pilgrim. I colored her with Copics.

 I cut out this cutie with my Spellbinders and inked the edges. I added Stickles around the image.

 I used Jaded Blossom sentiments on the inside and out. I used scraps of paper most are DCWV however the bottom left is something else I believe. I added a couple of glitter brads and some ribbon.

I used this sketch from The Stamping Boutique's Facebook group challenge. I actually created this sketch and run the challenge in that group. Not bad for my first sketch.

SSD Bride of Frankenstein

 

This week on Sassy Studio Designs the challenge is Halloween. 

I used a simple layout on this card but love the outcome.

This image is Bride of Frankenstein by Sassy Studios. She is really pretty for a dead woman don't you think, lol. I used E02 skin color then colored green on top of it to get the shade of the skin.

 Here is a closer view so you can see how sparkly I made her dress. I used Paper Studio Halloween paper and some left over DCWV. I had some left overs to use up. The stamp on the inside is a dollar stamp from Michaels that I bought a long time ago.

TSB Frankenstein

This week on The Stamping Boutique the challenge is Trick or Treat.

 Frankenstein is the cutest sweetest monster ever! I colored him with Copics and added Stickles on his patches. I cut him out with my Spellbinders and inked the edge.

 This sentiment is a dollar stamp I got from Michaels. I added some color with my Copics.

 I added a Frankenstein in the corner of the inside.

 This is a bead box that I decorated the top of. I added candy in the inside and gave it to my niece.

I just love this cutie.

SSD Jack Halloween Card

I am happy to be part of the Sassy Studio Design team this month as their guest designer.

 This weeks challenge is Back In Black - Halloween colors…use black AND green, orange or purple

 This image is Jack from Sassy Studio Designs. I colored him with Copics and tried to make his suit look like in the movie. I think it came out pretty good.He is the Flash Back image this week so you have one more day to get him for half off.

The paper is The Paper Studio. The inside sentiment is a Pink By Design stamp. The front sentiment is a dollar stamp I have had for a long time. I used my Spellbinders to cut the pumpkin paper out.

Simple OWH Cards

 I made two simple cards using some scraps of paper. I like to use up as much of my paper as possible.

I used Pink By Design sentiments that go perfectly for OWH. I love to donate cards to the soldiers. The paper is DCWV scraps. I used my Spellbinders to cut out the sentiments. I use a square punch to cut my flags and used some square rhinestones on the top card. There you have it simple :)

IS Blue Christmas

I am totally digging this Bo Bunny paper. It is so bright and pretty. Perfect with my scripture stamp. Inspired Stamps will start carrying lots of Bo Bunny papers October 1 and this is one of them.

 Luke 2:11 is a scripture stamp that is part of the Vintage Christmas. I used my Spellbinders to cut it out and the lacy circle behind it. The inside sentiment is from my favorite set Christmas Poinsettia.

I used this sketch for inspiration. I added s snowflake brad instead of a flower.

TSB Happy Anniversary

 

I tried some new paper that has gold in it which I normally hate but I am trying to expand my colors a bit. Lots of people like gold, just not me. However gold is great on cards. I used a Jaded Blossom Stamp for the front sentiment. I used my Spellbinders to cut it out. I added some gold gems around the card.

This is a new The Stamping Boutique image called Dried Flowers. I colored it with Copics and added Stickles.

The inside sentiment and scripture on the back are from a Sweet N Sassy stamp set. I loved the DCWV gold stack paper I got and wanted to use it but I didn't want to cover any of this say so I put it on the inside of the card.

IS OH Christmas Tree

I actually did something new on this card.

I used Luke 2:14 Tree image/scripture. I added some color with my Copics and added Stickles to the stars.

I tried something new with my ribbon. I looped a piece twice then hole punched it and put a brad to keep it together. I like how it came out.

 The holly is from the Christmas Poinsettia set. I used green distressed ink and added some red to the berries. I added Stickles to the berries. The inside sentiment came from Perfect Christmas Sentiment.

I used some paper that I have had for several years. I bought a paper pack years back and have about 20 pages left. I believe this is DCWV. Man a pack of scrapbook paper goes a long way when you are making mainly cards and other small projects. Yet I can't bring myself to stop buying large paper packs. The deal you can get on those just can't pass it up.

IS Christmas Card

I can not believe it is almost Christmas again! Man this year has flown by and good residence. This has been the worst year for me. So much stress. I am ready for a new year that is hopefully better. 

I used two of my favorite Inspired Stamps sets on this card.  HLO Christmas Girl is the stamp I just keep going to. Something about her draws me in.  I colored her with Copics and added Stickles to the flowers. I cut a red embossed piece of red card stock then I spray glittered it to put behind my image.

 Christmas Poinsettia was used on the inside of the card and for the sentiment on the front. I cut the front one out with my Spellbinders die and added some white with a gel pen.
