IS Xmas

Its getting closer to Christmas! I am super excited. This is my baby's first Christmas! So here is a card with a cute girl on it in honor of my girl.
This image is Hymn Girl Ornaments. I love her because she has option for what you want to put in her hand.

The inside sentiment and scripture are from the set Christmas Poinsetta. This is one of my favorite sets.

TSB Pilgrim Thanksgiving

This week on The Stamping Boutique the challenge is Fall.
I love holiday cards. This image definitely says Thanksgiving! I used some scraps of paper I believe is DCWV that I have had and used year after year.
This Stamping Boutique image is called AJ the Pilgrim. I colored him with Copics. He is such a cutie!

Head on over to The Stamping Boutique and join in the fun.

Orange Flower Birthday

Here is a simple birthday card I made. I used DCWV paper. I used a Stampin Up birthday sentiment and my Irock metal embellishments.
I cut out a white lacy circle and embossed it to put behind the flower.

Simple birthday cards

I made some simple birthday cards with a set that someone donated to me. I usually don't use premade embellishments other than flowers but I did not want this set to go to waste.
The birthday paper is a cute birthday stack from DCWV that is glossy.
I will be sending these cards to Operation Write Home.

I used a Stampin up sentiment for the make a wish.
I added some cute Peachy Keen eyes on the balloons.

TSB Ocean Retirement

I used the below sketch for this card. The front sentiment is a Jaded Blossom stamp. The paper is DCWV.
This is a new The Stamping Boutique image called Beach Scene. I colored it with Copics and added Stickles to the waves and sand. The sentiment below is a rubber stamp that I have no idea where I got it.

The Stamping Boutique is celebrating its 5 years anniversary today! I have loved TSB for so long now and just love the artist Tracey. She is such a sweet woman and makes such fun images.
This is her new image for today's anniversary party. I colored it with Copics and added Stickles.
The paper I used is DCWV Birthday Stack. The inside sentiment is Stampendous.

IS OH Christmas Tree

I actually did something new on this card.

I used Luke 2:14 Tree image/scripture. I added some color with my Copics and added Stickles to the stars.
I tried something new with my ribbon. I looped a piece twice then hole punched it and put a brad to keep it together. I like how it came out.
The holly is from the Christmas Poinsettia set. I used green distressed ink and added some red to the berries. I added Stickles to the berries. The inside sentiment came from Perfect Christmas Sentiment.
I used some paper that I have had for several years. I bought a paper pack years back and have about 20 pages left. I believe this is DCWV. Man a pack of scrapbook paper goes a long way when you are making mainly cards and other small projects. Yet I can't bring myself to stop buying large paper packs. The deal you can get on those just can't pass it up.

Head on over to Inspired Stamps and check out all the other great creations. You can find these stamps and many at the Inspired Stamps Store.

Sweet Sympathy

I wanted a little inspiration to get me started with this card so I looked at the Mojo sketch and say this background paper and thought perfect! I was debating what sentiment to do with this card and decided to go with sympathy since this is such a sweet card maybe it will give some just a second to think of something else.
This image is super cute. It is Spring Swing by The Paper Shelter. I colored her with Copics and added some Stickles to the flowers, bow and middle of the dress.I used distress ink, antique linen around the edges.
I used Jaded Blossom sentiments on this card. I added some paper flowers. I colored a couple white flowers with blue spray so I could have some matching blue flowers. The brown flower came that color. I added a few pearls and some sheer ribbon. The paper is DCWV.
I added some of the DP inside the card with another Jaded Blossom sentiment.
Your comments are greatly appreciated and make my day just a little better :)

SSS233 Fall Turkey Card

I decided to play with this weeks The Sweet Stop sketch a little differently this week. I decided not to use circles and a cut out instead of an image. I used DCWV paper and my Spellbinders to cut out the "circles"  I distressed them with brown ink.
The cut outs are from Miss Kate Cuttables.I used my gel pen to highlight the turkey parts.

Head on over and join in on the sketch this week over at The Sweet Stop.

Craft Room Sign

I made this sign to hang on my craft room door. I used this beautiful DCWV paper. I made the words from Plantin SchoolBook and sprayed them with glitter.
I hung these to Rosettes from the bottom attached with brown twine. I made a quilling flower for the middle of one of them. The other I cut a circle and added a epoxy sticker from Paper Studio on top of it.
I took white flowers and added Distressed Antique White on the flower from the center out and sprayed with glitter.
I quilled a circle and added them into the center of the flowers.

I quilled a flower for the bottom corner of the plaque.

Here is the original item that I altered from the Dollar Tree. I love who this came out and enjoy having it on my door. I am thinking I will make similar ones for the other doors in the hallway. Thanks for stopping by!
