Pet Card MCCR

Here is my design team post of My Cricut Craft Room. The theme is to make a pet card. I chose a goldfish.
I cut the entire card from Create a Critter. I made the tank at 5 inches and the fish at 2 inches.
I used a K. Andrew Design sentiment from Splash-tastic Summer set. It is the perfect sentiment for this card. I tied it on with twine. I love how this shaped card came out.
Head on over to My Cricut Craft Room to see what the rest of the team has made.

July Chopped Challenge

Welcome to Jennifer at Craft Card Gallery July challenge. We have been doing these for the past few months.

This is my favorite chopped card I have made so far and it was the hardest contents. Jennifer at Crafty Card Gallery really gave us some hard contents this time. See them below.
Here is the close up of all the materials. I actually took the zig zags cut outs off and used the big background piece over the whole card. The clear sheet I cut a small piece that had the binding piece and stamped it and put it in the envelope. You can clearly see the blue foil, eyes and envelope.
What was in the envelope?
blue foil, zig zags, arrow paper clips, google eyes, 1/2 sheet transparency and a mini envelope.

I used Recollections paper stack Monsters and Robots for the background blue paper and the robots orange. I cut the robot with my Cricut using the Robotz cartridge. The robot is on page 30 and cut at 3 1/2. I used Stampin Ups scallop punch and happy birthday stamp.

The rules this time?
Not too many - you
don't have to use all of anything but you have to use some of everything. You can make 2 cards if you want.
Now head on over to http://craftycardgallery.blogspot.com/2012/07/challenge-july.html and vote for my card :) or your favorite card which hopefully is mine. Thanks for stopping by!!

Christmas in July ~ Inspired Stamps

Don't you just love how this came out. She is so cute and really pops. Christmas Girl is an Inspired stamps set. You can get her with some sentiments for only $4.99. Totally worth it for Christmas :) The Joy to the World is from a different Inspired Stamps set called Vintage Christmas
I made this cute container by cutting it on my Cricut using Platnin. I have had the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge for over three years now and never noticed that this box was on there until I saw another crafter make one. I liked how she fauz stitched and used the twine so I copied her :) This paper is so cute too. I picked it up after Christmas last year for like $3 for the whole stack. So excited to get to use it, gotta love Christmas in July!
Now make sure you head over to Inspired Stamps blog to check out what the rest of the DT has made.

Waste Not Challenge for Paper Cupcakes

Here is my second post as guest designer for with There's Magic in the Air with Paper Cupcakes.

 Challenge:  Waste Not
Waste not is the name of the game. Make a card or project with something you have recycled. It can be a coke tab, recycled game piece, tag, etc..
Can you see what I recycled?
Hey look a nail file! I pulled apart this nail file apart since it is way to smooth to actually file why not recycle it on a card.
Also the green cut out behind the sentiment. I used a paint small paper from Home Depot.

The image is from Paper cupcakes named Birthday Hat Cupcake you can find it here
I love it, its just so fun. I colored it with Copics, added Glossy Accents to the eyes and inked around the edge of the circle. The sentiment is from Stampin Up and I inked around the edge of that one too.
Head on over to There's magic in the Air to join in on this fun challenge.

Keira’s Double-Digit Birthday Crafting Bash

Welcome To Keira’s Double-Digit Birthday Crafting Bash! Oh, the dilemma of it all, what to get a talented gal such as Keira who is going to be 10 for her birthday!!!!! I know what, let's have a blog hop for her ..... Keira has sooo many talents and likes such as: she will be going in the 5th grade, loves dogs and cats, loves to garden, is a competitive gymnast, but more importantly, she is the best crafting partner Lisa Woodward could have! At 9, she can use a cricut independently, and with SCAL and CCR. She likes to paper piece and scrapbook and loves making cards for everyone~and everything!!!! Hallmark may not have a card for “Sorry my Golden Retriever ate your shoe at my sleepover” but Keira sure does! Keira crafts along side Lisa, working on her own projects, and with helping Lisa with hers. Now, bear in mind that Keira is not a "kid" crafter so to speak but her skills go way beyond pipe cleaners and pom poms! We have a talented group of crafters to help Keira celebrate her birthday and know she will be hopping along as part of her "surprise" .....

If you're just visiting me today, I'm thrilled but wouldn't want you to miss a single birthday wish to this special 10 year old!!!! The hop begins with Lisa. If you have arrived from Maria then you are most definitely following the cake crumbs and the birthday banners and streamers!!! Well, we hope you enjoyed the birthday wishes we have prepared and now that you won't want to miss Lori as she too wishes Keira a wonderful double digit birthday!!! You can just imagine how thrilled she is as she is grinning "ear-to-ear" with all of her birthday wishes!
This image is Stamping Boutique and is colored with Copics and added Glossy Accents added on top of the balloons. I chalked around the edge of the image.
Here is the inside of the card.

The birthday is cut from Plantin Schoolbook at 1 in. The background happy paper I made in word and printed out. The patterned paper is is from a great stack that is Recollections.
