Grad Card

Here is a quick card I whipped up that my husband needed asap. I used what little grad paper I had left. It is Paper Studio. I added some brads to make it sparkle. Simple but it felt good to craft!

Grad Card

I made this graduation card using parts of the invitation I received from my nephews graduation. I used the insert for the front seniors page. I cut the year in a strip and used it on the front. I embossed some silver paper for the background and used his school colors for the card.
I cut out the grad and cap with my silhouette.
I used a stamp a bought at Hobby Lobby for the inside.
I cut the mascot out and put it on the back of the envelope. I used his name plate on the front of the envelope.

I did not have time to post this card after I made it so I thought I would wait to graduation time came around again. I hope it gave you some inspiration. My nephew loved that it was so personal.

Blue Red Grad

One of my favorite people graduated Friday with her Engineering and English Bachelors. I am incredibly proud of her. She has had some challenges in her life and persevered. This is the card I made for her.

I used her school colors and a bit of DP paper. This image reminds me of my friend. Audrey the graduate is a The Stamping Boutique digi. I colored her with Copics. I left her hair alone because it reminded me of my friends hair.
The inside sentiment is a stamp I bought at Hobby Lobby. I like it on the inside. I haven't used it inside a card before but I like it.
Here is my wonderful friend about it go in to graduate.

SSS214 Grad Card

Time for another wonderful sketch from The Sweet Stop.
I embossed the blur paper with stars. The rest is just layers of colored card stock and this cute grad paper from Hobby Lobby.
This cute girl is from svg files. I cut her out and added some chalk for the cheeks and Stickles on the bow.
I found this Dr. Seuss poem and thought it was super cute for graduation.

Don't forget to go check out all the other great takes on the sketch and join in on the fun at The Sweet Stop.

SSS213 Graduation Card

Its that time of the week when we all get to play with another great sketch from The Sweet Stop.
I started by embossing the blue and black paper with stars. I added a designer paper accent.
I used my Cricut A Child's Year catridge to cut the cap. I added twine for the tassel. So Cute.
The sentiment is from Stampin Up and I added metal embellishments with my Irock.
What are you going to make with this wonderful sketch. Can't wait to see it over at The Sweet Stop!

Graduation Girl Card

How cute is this card. I love it!
This cute girl is a svg file from SVG Files. I cut her and added some ink to give the hair dimension.  The blue I used My Fiskar punch and embossing folder. I used a Stampin Up sentiment.
I used chalk to add some color to her cheeks. The paper is a single Paper Studio sheet from Hobby Lobby. 30 cents and I have made four cards with it and still have some left :)
I used a Dr. Seuss quote for the inside of the card.

Purple Graduation Card

I made this card for a great friend that graduated college and loves purple. The images is from Kich N Bleus. I think the expression is perfect for how my friend feels. I colored her with Copics. The scallop behind it was spray glittered. The Congratulations is from Inspired Stamps Perfect Sentiments. I followed the sketch below.

Grad Cap Cards

These first cards I used metallic background paper that I embossed using my big kick with stars. I cut the grad cap from A Child's Year. I made the tassel from twine from the Twinery. I faux stitched the edges of the white paper and stamped the bottom.

This card I used the shaving cream technique I described in this post. I love how it came out.
So as you can see I made all these cards very similar and I sold them all. I love when that happens.

Kich N Bleus DT- Grad Cards

I colored the digi with prism colored pencils and blended with gamsol. I had some technical difficulties and I am not too happy with my coloring but it will be ok.  I  cut the card from Birthday Bash and added the metal accents with my Irock.
I just love these digi stamps. I already posted one of them however I made another to highlight this collection again.
I am drawn to the girl digi stamps even though I need to make a male grad card. The link below will take you to the store if you are interested. Thanks for stopping by.
