Blue Red Grad

One of my favorite people graduated Friday with her Engineering and English Bachelors. I am incredibly proud of her. She has had some challenges in her life and persevered. This is the card I made for her.

I used her school colors and a bit of DP paper. This image reminds me of my friend. Audrey the graduate is a The Stamping Boutique digi. I colored her with Copics. I left her hair alone because it reminded me of my friends hair.

 The inside sentiment is a stamp I bought at Hobby Lobby. I like it on the inside. I haven't used it inside a card before but I like it.

 Here is my wonderful friend about it go in to graduate.

TSB Mary Kate Intro

Today on The Stamping Boutique has some new releases to share. I only had time to play with one, boo. I really want to play with the other soon.

This is Mary-Kate. I just love her. She is so cute. I colored her with Copics and added some Glossy Accents to the star. I used some Recollections paper. I used my Spellbinders to cut her out and the lacy oval behind her. The sentiment is from a princess stamp set I bought at Michaels.

Inky Father's Day

Inky Impressions new release time. This one is for the boys! I know I always need more male images for cards. There are three new ones this month.

 Making manly cards is always a challenge for me. I like bright and blingy but men don't. I kept it simple with this one. I embossed the kraft paper with some lines. The sentiment is a Hero Arts stamp.

This image is called Father and son fun. I colored it with Copics and inked the edges. I added some metal embellishments to give the card a little something without making it girly.

IS New Release

This month Inspired Stamps is releasing a couple more Hymn Girls. This one is Hymn Girl Patriotic with Star. I added some color using my Copics.  On the flag I stamped a small stamp from 1" circle sentiments. This set fits perfectly in this flag.
This sentiment is also a new release called Thinking of You. I inked the edge.
I used some strips of Bazzill Cardstock that I embossed for the background paper.

Inky Flower Power

Inky Impressions challenge this week is Flower Power.

I love how this card came out. I used some DCWV paper for my background DP.

 I love this fairy, she is so cute. She is Wishing Well Fairy. I colored her with Copics and added some Stickles to her wings. I used my Spellbinders to cut her out and inked the edge of the oval.

This sentiment is Butterfly Kisses Sentiment. I added some color to the butterflies with a Copic marker and Stickles on top.

I used a Stampendous birthday sentiment inside the card.

Orange Birthday Card

I was asked to make some more adult birthday cards. I am happy with this one. I used a Heidi Swapp butterfly and sprayed it with her yellow spray.

I sprayed the flower with Glimmer Mist to make is sparkle. I added a pearl brad in the center that I love. When I stamped the sentiment it made an ink mark from the edge of the stamp. I was bummed and sat there for a minute trying to figure out how to save my card. I decided to add some pearls to cover it up. I gotta say I like how the pearls added to the card.

The sentiment inside the card is a new stamp I got from Sweet Stamps.

Mothers Day Tag Card

I am always trying to use up my scraps so I cut these tags out of some pieces. I cut the tags with my Silhouette and distressed the edges with some Tim Holtz ink. I also used the ink in the white flowers then sprayed them with some glitter spray. The sentiment is a Stampin Up stamp.

The inside stamps are from a Sweet N Sassy set. I used a scrap piece I had left for the inside.

TSB Baby Girl

This week on The Stamping Boutique the challenge is Card for mom or Girly. I went with Girlie.

Nothing says girlie like pink and man is this card pink!

I love this baby! I just think she is so cute. Little Princess by Stamping Boutique is colored with Copics and Stampin Up markers. I wanted several shades of pink on this image. 

The sentiments are Pink By Design and Jaded Blossom.

Flower Mothers Day Cards

 I wanted to share a few Mother's Day cards I made.

 I used a Floppy Latte Design flower image and added the sentiment in photoshop. I colored them with Copics and added Stickles to the center.

 The inside sentiment on these cards is a Stampin Up stamp.

All of these cards have already sold :) I love selling cards and wish I could find a way to sell more. I make so many it would be nice for them all to find a home.

Inky Impressions challenge this week is Mother's Day.

This card came out so cute. I am loving the flower paper with the flower embellishment to match.

Sweet Sunday Sketch

I followed the sketch below for the top image. I love the card and planned on keeping it that way but I got more requests for Mother's Day cards so I turned this into one.

I used The Stamping Boutique's Audrey with hearts in her apron digital stamp. I colored her with Copics and added Stickles to the hearts. The sentiment is Sweet N Sassy.

GDT Cangrats Baby Card

I am guest designing for Card Mania this month. The challenge this week is embossing. I am using an image from our sponsor Sassy Studio Designs.

 Here is a cute baby congrats card for a mommy to be that came out super cute.

This image is so cute.I colored her with Copics. I cut her out with my Spellbinders and added a lacy oval behind her to make her pop.

I embossed the pink cardstock with hands and feet. I used my buffing block to back it stand out a bit more. The charm says its a girl. The sentiment is a Jaded Blossom Simple Saying set.

Baby Shower Items

 I co-hosted a baby shower for a friend and wanted to share what I made. This are the gift bags for the prizes.

I used my Cricut 9 Months cartridge for the onesies. I added some dots with my gel pen. I used a variety of pink and purple papers that I found in single sheets and in paper packs.

I added a lot of curly ribbon to everything. The roll I bought had a ton and I wanted to use as much as I could.

These are the thank you for coming gifts. They were the biggest hit because people could not believe I stamped every kiss. I tried to jazz up the plain basket the best I could. The sign I used Bugaboo images.

 I used a Jaded Blossom die to cut out the toppers and Jaded Blossom candy stamps for the bottoms. I used a couple different sets. The baby one and some other thank you stamp.

 I added some baby confetti to them since that was in the invitation.

 The babies room is light purple so I found a matching elephant to give her. This is my gift bag for the babies gift.

 I used larger onesies and embossed them. More ribbon!

  I added the gel pen dots again and used a brad in the center.

IS Girly Congrats

 It doesnt get much girlier than this! I used Bazzill Vintage Marketplace paper pack for the DP. I used s sentiment from Inspired Stamps Perfect Sentiments for the congratulations.

Hymn Girl June is such a cute image. I stamped her twice. Once in pink then green on top. Then I hand cut her out. I like to use a nail file around the hand cutting to smooth it out. I added a little twine but thats it. I like to donate cards to OWH so off to the soldiers this one goes.
