Sketch Blog Hop

Welcome to the sketch blog hop! The purpose of the sketch blog hop is to show how different designers can take the same sketch and come up with totally different cards....
If you happened upon my blog, be sure to go to the first stop, www.craftycardgallery.blogspot.com
so you can hop along with us. If you came from Davinia then you are in the right place.
So I switch the sentiment to the top and added a belt to the bottom but other than that it follows the sketch below. I used scraps probably DCWV, the celebrate is a dollar stamp. I used my Spellbinders to cut out the labels. The belt buckle is from Tim Holtz.
This inside sentiment is from Sweet N Sassy Birthday Innies stamp set.
Head on over to Beth next and see what she did with the sketch this month!

CISC4 Snow Tweet Card

This week in Clearly iStamps the challenge is ... CiSC #4 - Lift the person before you
Go to the blog of a person and find a crafty project that inspires you. "Lift" the design, elements, theme, sketch, etc. In your post tell us who and what you "lifted" (if you can post the project or/and link to the project"
Here is my take on the card below. I embossed the white paper then added a scrap of cute DP with candy canes like Gail's. I added ribbon on the opposite side.
I love snowmen so naturally I love this image from Clearly iStamp. This Cleary Digi stamp Snow Tweet comes with the snowman and several sentiments including this one for only $2.50. I colored him with Copics and added Stickles to the hat and scarf. I added a hat button.
Clearly iStamp has some great sets of sentiments. I love this Christmas Cards Sentiments one.

I lift this card from Gail and made my own version.
Any type of crafty project is allowed as long as it meets the theme.
Dates: Aug 2 (10 am) – Aug 15 (11 pm) Central Time
Prize: $10 gift code to Clearly Digi Stamps for digital stamps. If you use a CDS stamp they will be entered into the drawing twice.
There will also be a Top 3 award!
Come join us with the challenge over at Clearly iStamp and check out all the other scrap lifts.

Inspired Stamps August Release

Lots of new scriptures from Inspired Stamps this month. I used two of them and will be donating these to OWH. I hope they speak to someone.  1 John 3:1 is on the first card.
I used some pretty paper and a few paper flowers.
I love the font on 1 Thessalonians 3:16-18. The pray without ceasing is really speaking to me right now because I have been praying for something for over a year and it is still not happening.  There are times when I feel like I am not good enough to be granted the gift I seek. There are times when I feel like praying is not working, that God is not listening. This life can be difficult at times and I am feeling low right now. However God is good and always helps me through every situation and I have to have faith that he will help me with this one too.
This is my current favorite color for some reason. I love this paper and the ink that I used around the edge of the scripture.
I hope that everyone appreciates all that God has given them and remember God is good.

Head on over to Inspired Stamps and check out all the wonderful new scripture stamps and all the great cards.

For this stop on the hop you should have come to me from Deneen, and your next stop will be with the equally as lovely, Gaby

Today on Inspired Stamps Blog we are making a set of Christmas cards. I made a set of cards using bread tags cut from the SIL store with my Cameo. I used my Xyron Creative Station to adhere the bread tags onto the background. The scalloped circles where cut from a Miss Kate Cuttables file. I made each card differently using the same materials. I used the same ribbon, paper, and image. I love how these came out.
These first two cards I used the Merry Christmas sentiment from Perfect Christmas Sentiments
The bottom card I used the sentiment that comes with HLO Christmas Girl. I added the bling at the top with my Irock. I used brads on the others.
I used HLO Christmas Girl for all the cards. I colored her with Copics. I added Stickles to the red in the green leaves.
Head on over to Gaby's Blog next and continue on the hop
And don't forget to leave a comment on each blog for a chance to win HLO: Christmas Boy or Girl....there's a winner chosen from EACH blog!!.

Glitter Blog Hop

Welcome to the Glitter Blog Hop hosted by Lorby's World. These talented crafters believe a little or a lot of glitter can make any project sparkle and today they are going to prove it with their creations. Please visit each participant and leave a little bit of love on their blogs.

Jearise from Lorby's World has a special drawing to go along with today's hop. One lucky winner will win a $10 gift card from Micheal's. Just leave a comment on her blog so we know you joined us today. The winner will be announced on Sunday, July 28th so make sure you visit that day to see if you are the lucky winner.

I made a few Glitter HTV shirts. I am very new to heat transfer vinyl. This was my first day using it. I love it and dont want to use non glitter vinyl anymore :)
I used a label from Miss Kate Cuttables and added the word faith inside. I used a butterfly from SIL studio.
It was a PAIN to weed out all those small pieces but I LOVE this butterfly.
And because I could not waste any of this great HTVI used the letters of the faith on this next shirt.
I used a different butterfly from SIL Studio that had swirls in it.
And because I didn't want to waste a single piece of HTV, I used the swirls on the next shirt.
Hard to see the swirls but they are cute.

Thank you for stopping by today and your next stop is Mayra.

Butterflies & Sunshine Card

I have a thing for butterflies. They are pretty and they make so many crafty things that are butterflies. I made another simple card today.
The sentiment is Jaded Blossom Perfect Sentiments 2. The butterfly is a chipboard that is sprayed with Sparkle & Spray. It is glittery and shiny without glitter coming off. This is important so I can send it to OWH to donate.

SSS220

Another fun sketch over at The Sweet Stop this week. This one took me a little while to figure out. The doilies I have were to big for a card so I cut some with my Cameo using a Miss Kate Cuttables file.
I used a couple tan doilies and a couple white ones. I used a border punch and some fun gold threaded twine.
I used a Sweet N Sassy image and sentiment. The image is a digital stamp called Butterfly & Flower but also comes in a clear stamp. The sentiment is from the clear stamp set Wedding Cake. I colored the images with Copics, added Stickles to the center and Glossy Accents on the entire butterfly.

Head on over to The Sweet Stop and check out the others and join in on the fun!

$15 gift certificate

I made two simple cards to donate to OWH. I used DCWV Garden Party stack paper.
The sentiments are from Jaded Blossom Simple Sayings 2.  I added clipboard butterflies that I sprayed with Spray & Sparkle. It adds glitter but has a clear coat so the glitter does not come off. I have had these butterflies for at least a year and need to use them. This hop was a perfect reason.
I used my Spellbinders to cut this label and distress it with Tim Holtz antique linen. Then stamped the sentiment and added two pearls.

Thank you for stopping by, the next stop is Alicia

Here is the complete blog line up in case you get lost along the way.
