Kich n Bleus Summer Collection Release

Welcome to my Summer Collection DT post. Here are the cute images we are show casing today. Click on the picture to take you to the store.
I wanted to make something other than a card this time so I made a picture frame layout. I colored the images with Copics. I cut Summer from Doodlecharms at 4 in. and sprayed it with glitter.

Liberty & Justice Card-Shaving Cream Background

I used Sew Many digi stamp Ali Independence Day. Isn't he cute. I colored with my prism colored pencils and blended with gamsol. I printed out the sentiment and used my Irock to add the gems.

Now for the shaving cream background. I found this technique in an old Paper Crafters magazine and thought it would be fun. It was.
So you get a shallow bowl and add shaving cream to the entire bottom of the bowl. Flatten it out and add dots of alcohol ink. Then swirl them around in the shaving cream. Then place the paper on top of the shaving cream face down and lightly press down. Lift up and scrap off the extra shaving cream. I will try to scan the pages from the magazine if I can figure out which one it is. My explanation might not be that good its late. I will explain again in more detail on the next post when I use the other colors of the papers I made. Here are the close ups of 4 of the backgrounds.

Scallop Shape Birdie Birthday Card

I made this card because I loved the little birdie on the banner. I am not a fan of pink but I am starting to love using it on my cards.
I used Birthday Bash cartridge on this card. I LOVE IT! It is a fantastic cartridge. I believe I cut this at about 5 inches. Feel free to ask any questions. Thanks for looking!

Nascar Birthday Card

I made my first Nascar themed cards. The best thing about selling my cards is that I get to make things I would not normally make.
I got this car from a wonderful person that was sharing it on their blog for free. I wish I had saved the link to share with you but of course I didn't. I googled and found it.
This card was colored with Copics and I added Glossy Accents to the windows.
This next card was made for the daughter of the other card. I actually colored the car in Photoshop and printed it out.
I embossed the white paper in the right corner and inked it with red ink. Added some twine and brads and there you have it.
Thanks for stopping by.

SEW MANY Challenge will have June New Release Blog Hop at June 3rd. Join us next week to see all the wonderful new images.

This week at SEW MANY Challenge is SMC#55-Circles Challenge. The circles can be in any form;  designer paper, brads, or your image could be cut in a circle whatever you can think of.

And SEW MANY Challenge has DT call, if someone has interested, please visit SEW MANY Challenge blog-DT call to see it. This is a fantastic DT and I am extremely excited to be a part of it and you will be too.
Here is my card this week.
Isn't this just the cutest image. I love it. I colored it with my Copics. For some reason I am very good with the purple however I still need some work on the others :)
My hubby was very impressed with this card. He never really has enthusiasm when he says "its great babe" However looking at this card he actually reacted to which is a miracle in its own. I hope you all like it half as much as he did :)
Oh I almost forgot, there is a super cute freebie on Sew Many as well. I did not have time to make something with it yet. Well I colored all the hearts and I dont have a brown Copic yet so I was to sad to finish coloring it, lol.
Go grab with cute image while its available.

Kich N Bleus DT- Grad Cards

I colored the digi with prism colored pencils and blended with gamsol. I had some technical difficulties and I am not too happy with my coloring but it will be ok.  I  cut the card from Birthday Bash and added the metal accents with my Irock.
I just love these digi stamps. I already posted one of them however I made another to highlight this collection again.
I am drawn to the girl digi stamps even though I need to make a male grad card. The link below will take you to the store if you are interested. Thanks for stopping by.

Friday Freebie ~~Sew Many

http://paperplaytime.blogspot.com/2011/05/ch-45-make-tall-card.html
Make a tall card. This one is perfect because I was just looking at this size envelope thinking I needed to use them. I used Copics to color the bee and added some accents with my Irock. I shimmer misted the white flowers.

This next card is from this wonderful sketch.
http://cardpositioningsystems.blogspot.com/2011/05/cps-218-part-1.html
I am loving this layout. I have made three cards using it so far. However I used my new digi's for my other DT and realized I cant post them yet so those will have to wait until my DT post. However I love this card. The colors came together so nicely and this sketch rocks!

Thanks so much for looking! Questions and comments always welcome here.

21st Circle Bday Card

I cut the circle card and the balloons from Birthday Bash. The 21 is from Plantin. I added the metal accents using my Irock.

Glass Blocks

I put etching cream all over the entire block.
I used vinyl cut outs on the fronts of the blocks. Then added a ribbon on top. This is such as easy project. It is a little costly yo make it but I love how they came out. I got the block, stand, and light at Hobby Lobby.
Any questions or comments are loved! Thanks for stopping by.

Blogger frustration

Man blogger went down and all my scheduled posted were messed up. All the typing I did on the post, gone. So if you see posts without explanation its because I did not want to re type everything. :(
