Clothes Pin Magnets & Card

I made these for my friend. She loves purple and hearts. I painted the large clothes pins with a purple glitter paint on the sides. This paint did not work so well. Much better in theory than execution. So the little ones I inked with a purple stamp pad. I then glued paper to the top and bottom of the clips. I hot glued a brad attached to a flower on the front. Last I put magnet strips on the back. They came out ok for my first try but I have some ideas how to make them better next time.

I took a piece of card stock and embossed it then added a happy birthday tag to it. The happy birthday tag was made from a glue pad stamped image then glittered. I have never used a glue pad before and I really liked it. I will be using glue and glitter more often.

I made a tag for the top. I printed the happy birthday with her name then used my nestabilities to cut out the scallops. I embossed the papers with hearts and put it all together as you see in the picture, with a flower ribbon running across the front.

Last I put it all together with them in a bag.

I know she will like it. She is a great person and loves everything I make so I figured she would be my trial & error.
I made her a card all in purple as well. She likes monkeys so I cut them from the Paisely cart. I embossed the paper with my happy bday plate. I printed the happy birthday and wrapped a ribbon around it. I made this card with a slider insert, which I have never done. I glued the edges and them made the insert.

Mojo Monday Challenge 171

This card was pretty simple to make. Lots of cut out square and rectangles. The only thing unique I did was took a plain white flower and decorated it with alcohol ink then sprayed with glitter and added a button in the center glued to a brad.

It is so weird not to have a million projects I am making as gifts. I have been so busy with Xmas presents that now I am not sure what to do with myself.

Whisks

I made a couple of these. I put them on top of food containers I gave out. The back said who the gift was from. They were a huge hit.

Tons of snowman cards

I have an obsession with snowman, so I made a lot of these cards. I love the snowman on Doodlecharms. It is my favorite snowman. I made several cards for all the ladies that work with my hubby.

Gift Card Holders

I made several different gift card holders. I wanted to make them a little more personal.

This one I made like a candy bar wrapper. I used a digi stamp that I had found online for free. I would love to tell you where but I save them to my computer and that is that.

I posted this one in another post on here. I did this one very much like the previous one. Just like a candy bar wrapper.

These two I made little envelopes around the gift card and decorated them.

This one I did a candy bar wrapper fold again and attached it to the present.

My students glitter oraments

I had my 3rd grade students make these as gifts to give out to their parents. We used the plastic ones for these. I cut a tag from Tags, Boxes & More cartridge for them and they decorated it with a felt sticker and made a card to go with it. I wish I had remembered to take pictures of their cards before they sealed them in an envelope because they were all one of a kind even though I have pre cut all the pieces for them. It is amazing what kids come up with even after explicit instructions.

Treat Containers

I made these little popcorn containers from the tags, box, and more cartridge at 7 inches. I filled them with candies, a yo-yo and a little reindeer toy. I made a candy cane heart by hot gluing two candy canes together. I cut a 5 in stocking from Christmas Cheer and put their names on them. They came out cute and where very simple.

Gift Wrapping

I got a little creative wrapping some gift cards and odd shaped things this year.

This is holding a gift card. I attached it to a bottle of wine and made a matching card to go with it.

This is the matching card I put in the red envelope on top.

I decorated a couple boxes with decorative paper and put a ribbon around the edge of the lid.

I put a gift card inside these little snowman and attached them to the boxes I made.
I printed the snowman faces from a free file on this blog. http://creationsbyk8.blogspot.com/2010/12/snowmen-candy-bars.html

Inside the boxes I put a message under candy so they had to eat there way too it.

I took a 12x12 piece of paper and wrapped it around some cigars and gift certificate. I had to add a little decoration even though it was for a male, I added a candy cane heart.

Glitter Ornaments

I can finally post all the glitter ornaments I made. I had to wait since they were gifts and many people check my blog. I did the same as so many people put there did. I used floor wax inside and then fine glitter. I decorated the outside with vinyl cut outs. I put snowflakes on all them. I made some with names, some with Initials, and others with reindeer, stocking, penguin cut outs.

These two sets I did not personalize. Bows are not my strength but they came out pretty good.

All of these where personalized with names and or initials. Everyone loved them. They were a huge hit as I am sure many of you found out as well.
