Baby Shower

My sister, mom and I gave my sister in law a baby shower yesterday and I wanted to share some of the things we made.

The banner came out cute. It was my first attempt at a banner. It was pretty simple. I cut the background pink parts by hand and used my cricut to cut out the letters and the girl part.

I made cupcakes with little cut out toppers. Just a scallop cut out from Winter Wonderland and a circle cut out with a couple different baby stamps on them. Very simple and easy to make. I stapled the two scallops together with pink staples so I did not have to use any adhesive. They came out cute.

My sister helped me with the favors. These were very simple to make. I am thankful for the craftiness of others for inspiring this one. For the tutorial go here http://scrapadoodledee.blogspot.com/2010/07/blog-hop-tutorial-prize.html
I added a little pacifier from my cricut sampler cartridge. We stamped them with cute baby stamps and folded them up with kisses inside. Easy project. Thanks Candace.

My ribbon storage.

I love looking at everyone's craft room video/photo's, so I am going to put some pictures of my room on here. I would do video but my room is never clean enough :) I just bought a new shelf at the local rescue mission for $8. It was original at Marshal for $30 according to the sticker still on it.

This shelf my husband made for me and I love it. I have too many ribbons according to him but he is a guy, so whatever. lol.

My shelves are in the corner of my room right by each other which is very easy for me to use.

My paper storage

My paper is ridiculous. I have soooo much.

This is the paper I use the most located on top of my entertainment center.

This is my plain card stock that I keep in one of the pockets of my entertainment center.

And some more paper sorted by color. Manly textured plain colored.

This is a bunch of paper that I got from my husbands work when a plant was closing.

Like I said I have a ton of paper. I am just trying to keep it organized so I can easily use it.

Loot from last weekends Yard Sale

The local craft store here has a yard sale ever now and then and I have scored some great stuff. This last time I spent under $30 and got lots of great stuff.

Congrats Card

I used the cricut on this card mostly. Its a pretty simple card but cute.

I found this fortune in my cookie the day I was making the card and figured it would be a good addition to the engagement card. Found out however at the party that they are not getting married for two years so ooppps.
