Raiders Birthday Card

Ok let me start with I am not a sports fan. I love all games in real life but on TV, no thanks. I do not have a team nor do I want one, so when someone asked me to make a Raiders card I went Aghh. Then I looked for Raiders paper and found none. Then my brain kicked on and I realized that I could make it in photoshop. So I saved the logo from the Internet and made the background paper in Photohop. Then I made it a bit more girly after I made sure the recipient was a female. I added diamond with my I*rock  and a cute little bow. Even though I am not a raiders fan I am proud of the way this came out. And now I have someone that wants a Steelers card so off to photoshop I go :)

Dinosaur card w/ bookmark

I used the Martha Stewart Birthday Cakes cartridge to make this card. I welded the dinosaurs together in DS. It did not come out completely perfect but it worked. I then cut out the front two pieces of the dino to make the front thicker and well prettier. I add the black dots and stamp to give it some decoration. It came out cute and I think the little boy it was made for will like it.
I made a bookmark to go with the card. I used Create a Critter to cut the two dinos. Plantin for the name.

Dino Reading Birthday Card

I made this card for the VP at my school. I hope she liked it. I also followed a challenge at Sew Many Cards. I love their stamps! I applied for their design team because I love their stamps and their prices. I am excited to say I made the team!! I don't officially start til the end of the month so I thought I would make a card for the challenge. This is one of their digi stamps that is only $1. I colored the image with my prism colors and blended with gamsol. I used my I*rock to add the metal accents. The string is actually yarn I found at Big Lots for $1 for a lot of string. Other than that I think you can figure it out. If not feel free to ask any questions. I love comments and questions!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Hubby's Easel Bithday Card

Today is my hubby's birthday! Happy birthday to him. I made him this Easel Card to display on his desk at work. I stamped the balloons then colored them with two copic markers. I am still getting the hang of these pens and wasn't completely happy with my coloring so I covered them with Glossy Accents, which makes everything a little better :) He liked his card which is good because he is a wonderful husband and I am so grateful to have him.

I like this picture of him. He looks so happy :)

Sweat Treats Present Card

I simple card I made yesterday. I was feeling horrible from my cold but need to make a card for an order so I came up with this one. She still loved it even though it was not as fancy as my usual ones.
This cute present I cut from Sweat Treats and spray glittered it. Thanks for looking!

Simply Charmed Cake Card in pink

I am back! I have been sick all week and have not been able to post anything :( I made a few things this week but had no energy left to post. So now I am catching up! I haven't looked at anyone's blog in a week and I am having withdrawls. So on to the card so I can go see what all you wonderful crafters have been making...

I am in love with this cake on Simply Charmed. I have made many cards with it and have sold them all. I am super excited to be adding a little money back to the bank since I am way to excessive with my crafty spending.
I used my I*rock for the bling. The bottom ones I cut the oval from Plantin.
These two cards are almost identical. I used a little pink card base on one.
Hope you enjoy these cards as much as the others like them. I really need to make a different cake next time. There aer so many to chose from so time to move on. Thanks for stopping by!

Silver Birthday Card

Male cards, yuck! No I like the way this one came out. I found this silver paper around Xmas time at Michaels on clearance and snatched all they had left. It looks great embossed. I cut the label from the wonderful Lacy Labels, add a couple large brads, and a ribbon and done. Well I added a couple white metal accents with my Irock in two corners and ink stitched around the card as well. I love the ink stitching. It really livens (I think that is how you spell that) things. I was always hesitant because I can't make a straight line to save my life but I realized it does not need to be perfect to look good.

Princess Birthday Card

I used a lot of paper punches on this card. I pulled them out to see which ones I had and decided to use several of them.
I made the inside to hold a gift card. I finally used my punch I got for Xmas and I really like it.
The back I added a little dress from Paisely I believe.
Thanks for looking. If you have any questions let me know I am too tired to explain it all but wanted to share my finished project.

Get Well w/ Jaden Get Well

The case of this card is a flat square that is 5 1/2 by 5 1/2 in. The I cut a 5x10 in and folded it, then cut half of one side at a 90 degree angle. Adhere this piece. Then I cut a 5 1/2 by 9 1/2 piece of paper and folded it in half. That is the inside card. Hopefully the pictures help you see what I did because my explanation is not so good, its late :)
I colored Jaden from Sew Many Cards with what little Copics I have and the pink with my prism colored pencils. I only have 6 copics so far and I am not great at coloring with them yet. Jaden is sooo cute.
Here is what the inside of the card looks like. I just stamped Get Well Soon on the bottom and left lots of room for the ladies to sign the card.

Closer view of my coloring :)
The front I cute scallops and circles using my Nestibilities and printed the sentiment on my printer. I used my I rock to add the pink metallics on there. Thanks so much for looking. I love all your comments!

Zebra Birthday Card w/ matching bookmark

I had a customer ask me for a zebra print card. This is what I came up with. I always get a little nervous making a card that someone is paying for. So far no one has complained so hopefully it stays that way.
This card was very hard for me to leave like this. I think it is beautiful but I did not and color or cut an image out for it. Just words I struggled but after staring at it for awhile I decided I like it the way it is. I cut the scallop circle from Lacy Labels. I inked the edge of the white one and stamped the image. I colored the lines with a copic marker, added rhinestones with my I*rock, and a few flowers.
Here is the matching bookmark I made. I cut the letters from Plantin and added a flower and spray glitter. After I was done I laminated it and added the ribbon.
Back of the book mark. I cut the flowers from a cartridge I can not remember right now, lol.
Closer view to see the glitter I sprayed on before I laminated.
The lady I made it for loved it and showed it around and I have another order for a card and a bookmark to make. I love making things for people. Thanks for looking!

Anniversary Card using Kich n Bleus digi

April 4th is my two year wedding anniversary and I thought this digi would be perfect for my hubby's card.
I am doing a card swap and received my first set of cards and there was one like this that I just had to try. It is such a simple card to make that looks like it took hours.

Here is a closer view of this wonderful FREE digi on Kich N Bleus. I colored it with prism colored pencils and blended with gamsol. I cut the scallop and embossed it.
Check out the other DT projects.

Poker Card

I was trying to figure out a card to make for my brother in law and if you have read anything about me you know I have a very hard time with male cards. This one came to me pretty quickly and after asking my hubby which cards to use this is what I came up with. I used a new deck of cards I bought for 50 cents. I figure I will use the other cards for something.
Here is the inside of the card.
Hope you like it. Thanks for looking :)

DT Call for SP~~Zee on the Moon Card

While I was checking out all of your fantastic blogs I came across a new stamp company that is looking for a design team so I decided to make this card for their call. I had to use blue and a stamp. This is what I decided on. SP stamps have some nice stamps. I especially like all the sentiment stamps they have.
This is a super cute digi I found at Sew Many Cards for only $1. It is so cute that I kept the card simple to highlight the cute zebra. I colored the digi with prism colored pencil and blended with gamsol. I added Glossy Accents on the nose. The paper is K&Company-Itsy Bitsy Baby Boy, so cute.
I wish you could see the sparkle on this scallop. It looks really good. Thanks everyone for looking. I love your comments!

So here is my creations using several of the digis in this fun collection.
 Card-fits in the purse
 Notpad-fits in the purse
 Ok on to the details...
I did many different things on this card. Lets start with the background. I used Ranger Ricks alcohol inks to make the background paper and the scallop paper. I then sprayed the scallop with Glitter Mist in pink and blue and used my nestabilities to cut it. I added white metal accents with my I*rock. The ribbon I colored white ribbon with my Zig markers using three colors. Hand colored the digi with prism colored pencils and blended with gamsol. The eggs have glossy accents on them.
The details are hard to see on this one. I made the background of the digi with alcohol inks and colored the same way. On the paint on the egg I used UTEE. I love the way that came out. This is a Splitcoast tutorial which I made for one of my last posts as well.
I made this notebook from scratch using thick chipboard and added notebook paper in there. Used my bind it all to bind it. Hand colored the same us the above and added Glossy Accents on the ears.

Easel Card Girl Version

Here is my second Easel Card. I finally got to the girl version of this card. I found this lovely image on ETSY and bought it. I love how this card came out. She is so cute.
I colored her using my prism colors and blended with gamsol. I decorations are pretty easy to figure out. The ovals where cut with Plantin Schoolbook.
I used the printer trick that I explained on my Hawaiian girl card to get her on the pre cut oval.

I bought a new Fiskar stamp set with this great stamp. I hope you all like my card. Thanks for taking time out of your day to look at my blog!
