TSB Caroling Snowman Card

I love making Christmas cards. I have made so many this year and want to keep making more.
Snowmen are my favorite. I was looking through my cards and realized how many snowmen cards I have. These cuties are The Stamping Boutique Snowfriends. I colored them with Copics.
I cut the flags with a square punch and stamped a sentiment on one.I believe it is from a Hero Arts set.

Happy Turkey Day! I am sure you are all busy eating way too much food today. If you are like me you have two places to go today and spend some time on your smart phone between places looking at the crafty sites. Any who I hope someone see my card today.
I used DCWV paper. My Silhouette to cut out this cute Miss Kate Cuttables Turkey. My spellbinders to cut out the orange label that I stamped with a Jaded Blossom stamp. I love the Lets Talk Turkey set that these two sentiments are on.  I added a couple leaf brads and used my gel pen to accent the turkey layers.

Inky Presents

Inky Impressions Challenge this week is presents. I went literal and made a gift bag.
I used several images from Inky Impressions to make this bag.
I used two digital stamps that I combined and printed. I colored the image with Copics.
This is Caroling Lili. She is so cute. I added Winter Lamppost next to her. They just go so well together.
The sentiment is also from Inky Impressions. I added some present buttons in case making an actual gift bag wasnt "present" enough.
The papers are DCWV. I added a star button (it came in a button pack) and curly ribbons to the handle.

Head on over to Inky Impressions and play along with us. You can find these stamps and other cuties at the Inky Impressions Store.

IS Candy Bar Wrapper Tutorial

Do you find yourself looking for a thoughtful gift that doesn't cost a lot of money? I have a great tutorial for you. These are great for co workers, neighbors, etc. I have given these out several times and they are always a hit.

Here is a step by step tutorial of how I make these.
1. Cut out your paper. Each candy bar has different measurements. Leave an inch above and below and enough on the sides to overlap each other.
Thicker paper workers better but I have used cardstock decorated with think scrapbook paper. Sample below.
 2. Add glue or tape as shown in the picture. I prefer the red tacky tape because you don't have to worry about it drying.

3.  Glue the paper around the candy bar. I pull off the red tape and roll the paper around the candy bar.

4. Crimp the ends with a crimper. I you don't have a crimper just glue the ends together.

5. I added brads to the bottom (if you don't have a crimper than I would definitely add the brads to the bottom to keep it together more securely.)

6. Make two hole through the top and add your ribbon. I added a bell and love it!
7. Of course decorate! I used this super cute HLO. This is His Little Ones: Shepherd Boy. I colored him with Copics.

You can make these for any occasion. Here is another example I made for a birthday example.
I used card stock and thin DP on this one. I used HLO Angel on this one. These HLO from Inspired Stamps fit perfectly on these candy bar wrappers.

You can find these stamps and many others at the Inspired Stamps Store.

TT Pop Dots & Polka Dots

Twisted Tuesday Challenge this week is to use pop dots, dimensions, foam dots, etc on your creation.
THE TWIST: Use polka dots somewhere on your project.
I used some beautiful DCWV paper on these two cards. I popped up the scripture on the cards.
I used Inspired Stamps Isaiah 41:10 on this card and cut it out with my Spellbinders. I inked the edges with a pretty green ink. I used that same ink and inked the white flower and added a button. I used a pop dot on the flower and scripture cut out.
I used Inspired Stamps Isaiah 43:1 on this card and cut it out with my Spellbinders. I inked the edges with a pretty green ink. I added some green and blue twine on this bottom of this one. These cards have been donated to OWH so hopefully someone loves them.

Your turn to use some polka dots & pop dots and join in the fun at Twisted Tuesday Challenges.

Inspired Stamps New Release

Inspired Stamps has a lot of great new releases this month. You won't want to miss all the great new stamps and projects to show them off today.

My project was made with the new Nativity set.
I used a shadow box to make my project in. That way I can set it out on my entertainment center to display. How cute are these little characters. I colored them with Copics.
It is very hard to get a good picture with the glass on the frame so I took a shot without the frame.
This came out so cute with the perfect background paper from MAMBI. I used the scripture and the star from this set in the corner.
Here is a shot of my layout in the shadow box.
I put it in a shadow box and used large pop up dots to make the image stand out.
Don't miss out on all the great new releases over at Inspired Stamps. You won't be disappointed.
