Digital scrapbook page

I finally made another scrapbook page. We went to the Grand Canyon last spring break and I haven't done anything with the pictures yet. I need to enlarge one for my wall but having a hard time deciding so I distracted myself with making a scrapbook page instead.

Baby Card for card swap & challenge

I combined the challenge at Card Patterns with the monthly card swap I am in. I just finished my third month of cards. These came out soooo cute. I cut the pacifier from Simply Charmed ans the scallop and circle from Just Because Cards. Embossed the white part then glittered.

I tried to get a picture to show the embossing of the cute little hands and feet.

Close up of the little pacifier. I sprayed it with glitter.

Mother's Day Card Swap Cards

I used these cards for a challenge and a card swap.
http://toptiptuesday.blogspot.com/
I am trying very hard to get as many projects made before we start trying to expand our family. I joined my first card swap and am trying to get as many months done as possible while I have the crafty energy going on. I just finished my second month. These cards are so not my style. I hate pink. I am much more into flashy cards but I love these cards. They are beautiful and girly.

I cut the center piece from Storybook.

I found the poem online and split half on front an

Mom, you’ve always been the best A better mom than all the rest. I’m thankful for all the things you do I’m glad my mom is extra special you!

On Mother’s Day, I want you to know. You’re the greatest mom, and I love you so. There’s one more thing I want to say:
I wish you Happy Mother’s Day!

These were plain white flowers that I inked around the edges with pink ink. I then sprayed "frost" sheer shimmer spritz by tsukineko. I bought the copper and pewter ones but I did not like them very much. I thought I would try the frost & shimmer pack and I love them.

Father's Day Card

My first of this set. Now that I have the layout I am going to make 6 more. I cut the tie from Simply Charmed. I print the sentiment in photoshop. The rest is pretty easy to figure out.

I am super excited to have 39 followers now! Thanks for all your support. I remember thinking, when I only had 1o followers, lol, that I would never get to 40. Hopefully soon I will and who knows maybe someday I will have 100. Dream big right. :) Have a great day!

Easter Cards

More Easter cards I made in the last couple days.

I cute the pink bunny baby from Simply Charmed then embossed it with my Big Kick. I cut the scallop with Lacy Labels. Used a stamp for the sentiment and used a pen to color the yellow around it.

I kept this one very simple. Probably the simplest card I have ever made.

This was the other one I was debating for my card swap. Its the same layout just a different background. I went with the blue instead.

My First Card Swap

I am doing my first card swap. I had to make seven identical cards. That is SUCH a struggle for me but I was able to do it. After much debating with myself and asking a friend which one she liked I chose this card.

I am obsessed with this little chick from Simply Charmed. I am using him for everything! This is a pretty simple card. I inked the edges of the rectangle papers. I printed out the happy Easter. Other than that you can figure it out. I hope my swap mates like it.

Easter chick set

I have being work on sets of cards to donate to Operation Write Home. I love this Easter chick. I made several then made my version of the same card. It is impossible for me to make the exact same card. These came out so cute and I would not send out Easter cards so this is a great way to get to make them. I like how these came out and they were so fun to make.

Brown thinking of you set

I made another thinking of you set this time in brown. I made the sentiment in photoshop again using a cute flower brush set.

This one is my favorite of the set. Such a cute paper and with the green it is so pretty.

These two came out pretty much identical but I liked the layout so much a didn't mind. I used one of my dollar Micheals stamps-the flower and stamped the four corners of the card then made the middle part. You can figure out that part.

Here is the jpeg of the sentiment I made so you can print it out if you like.

Waa who- $9.99 cartridges

I wasn't going to go to get the $9.99 carts today but I was going to pick up food and went right by there and I could help but stop. I got Paisley, which I already have but figure it will be a good gift. I also got Birthday Cakes. It has some cute stuff. My friend also grabbed Padoga for me. So two more carts to add to my list.

Black & White thinking of you set

I am making cards to donate to Operation Write Home. I made them simple so they would be easy to write in and mail. Also to make as many as possible I kept them simple. I print out the sentiment and made it using photoshop.

I used a cute flower brush on the sentiment. Then I changed each card a little bit to make each unique and one of a kind :)

Simply Charmed Cake Card

I just got the sweet treats cake cart and love it. It has so many cute things. I loved this little cake so decided to make a card with it. I cut three cakes but have only made one card so far. I can not bring myself to make more than one card the same.

Smiley Cart Birthday Card

This was my first time using the smiley cart on the gypsy. I cut the cupcake and stamped a peachy keen face on it. I wasn't sure about this paper but it came out cute.

Manly Birthday Card

This was my first attempt at stitching and it was not easy but came out cute. I printed the words, inked the edges, glued then stitched a couple stitches around the words. I cut two starts from George and embossed them. Then went over them with a nail file. That is pretty much it. I like the results and hopefully you will too.

Peach Wedding card

I made this card very simple. I cut the cake card from Wild Card using glitter paper and cut the front cake part off to add to this card. The rest you can figure out.

I have been trying to use the papers that I don't like very much to make my cards this weekend. I have made several cards for about five 12x12 pieces of paper. I figured out that I am not good at mass production. I do not like making cards that are the same. To me the point of handmade cards is that they are unique. So each card is slightly different from the next one.

Miss You Cards for OWH

I found a reason to make cards. I love to make cards but never have that many people to give them to so I found a great cause to donate cards to. http://operationwritehome.org/
I tried to make similar cards to make as many as I can to send to the soldiers. I am not very good at assembly line cards. I don't like making cards that look the same so I used the same sentiment and changed up each card a bit. I made the butterfly with the I miss you in photoshop with a beautiful brush set I download long ago. I put it below if you would like to use it. I am not sure why I haven't made more "stamps" in photoshop instead of wasting away my time and money finding ones I like. I like how these cards came out and hope the soldiers like them too.

Here is the jpeg of the file I made using photoshop and some fancy brushes I download long ago. Hopefully you can use it if you like. Not sure never tried to share a file.

Funky Birthday Card

This card and I did not see eye to eye. I love the embossed background. The star I embossed the shadow one and glued the patterned one on top. It was too plain so I added the ribbon and the buttons. It was still missing something so I added a tag with happy birthday. I am not super excited about how this card came out but it will make a good card for a guy.

Thank You card challenge

I struggled with this card a little but after some staring I finished it. I made the circle text in photoshop and the scallop and other tag using Lacy Labels. I got this cartridge on Xmas eve and I love it!. Luckily my sister in law was able to pick it up for $20 on black Friday. I added a Thank you charm that I bought a bunch of for cheap. Added a couple cute flowers and there you go. There are a few small details that I left out but I am sure you can figure it out by looking at it.
I made this card for a challenge. The link is below.
